How did it start?
From it’s humble beginnings as a stripped back 1990’s Mini shell in gorgeous Almond Green, work was quickly underway to strip it of all of it’s un-needed parts. The engine, front seats, steering rack, windows, gearbox – absolutely everything was removed. The only thing kept from the inside was the top part of the dash and the rear seats.
The chassis frame was modified to allow for a fabricated towing hitch to be easily added and removed. All stripping and welding done it was time to paint!
The Red.
When you think of a classic Mini there are two main colours that come to mind, right? Mr Bean’s iconic green (Austin Citron Green to be exact) and that famous racing red.
Add refurbished and polished chrome, wide colour matched arches, white bonnet stripes and a Union Jack roof – and the vision is coming together!
The Finising Touches.
The final stage was adding the little perfections – vinyls, tinted windows, carpet, LED lights, the photo booth equipment – Even wiring for a battery in the boot so we can attend events where power is limited!
With the Mini Photo Booth ready, it was time to get it to it’s first event!
